Spec-R are proud to introduce the S1 sports series electric touring car kit. Build on the design ideas of the recently introduced R1 competition touring car the kit features a narrow lower chassis made from 2.5mm fibre glass, 2.0mm upper deck and 3.0mm shock towers. A slim transmission and motor mount design improves handling while a dual bellcrank steering makes for optimised steering geometry and corner handling. Included in the kit are a light rear gear differential, composite plastic/metal shock absorbers, plastic bulkheads and a red anodised aluminium motor mount.

Tamiya 1:10 TT01E Subaru BRZ is a 1/10 scale assembly R/C kit of the Subaru BRZ, which was released to the driving public in March 2012. The BRZ is a compact, front engine rear-wheel drive sports car powered by one of Subaru's trademark boxer engines, a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder unit. Its lightweight, rigid chassis was designed to give the driver an exciting driving experience and features a low center of gravity as well as a specially-tuned front strut, rear double wishbone suspension setup.

The Volkswagen Golf24 race car was entered in the 2011 24 Hours Nurburgring to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Golf GTI. This car featured race-spec modifications including a front-mounted 440hp inline 5-cylinder turbocharged engine, 4WD powertrain, and a dynamic form with fender flares and a rear wing. Three of them were entered and they drew much attention during the race.

Spec-R have announced their new release, the R1 1/10 electric touring car. Featuring high strength and high precision anodized alloy parts for added durability and style, the back bone is the ultra narrow chassis design made from high quality 2.5mm carbon, with a 2mm thick upper deck. Slimmer transmission/motor mount components are designed for improved handling and smoothness and dual bellcrank steering gives precise cornering performance. The front/rear suspension arm mounts are fully adjustable and as you would expect from Spec-R there is a lightweight and smooth rear gear differential included.

Recently a CAD teaser picture of a 2WD buggy 3Racing has been leaked in the net. 3Racing is currently working on a 2WD Buggy. The buggy makes use of many well-known and approved design ideas such as front wishbones that are mounted behind the shock tower, a slim chassis construction, rear motor layout and big bore shock absorbers.
Information on a possible mid-motor layout, aluminium/plastic composite chassis or gear differential are not given but it should be only a matter of time until more information come up.
Tamiya F104 ver.2 chassis incorporates a Pivot Ball Link Rear Suspension (PBLR) like the one found on the RM-01 chassis. Compared to the previous 3-point T-bar rear suspension system, this new setup enables more precise adjustments of the chassis' pitch and roll characteristics.The new layout also increases overall traction and provides greater high speed cornering ability.
